Tata Steel Uilities And Infrastrúcture Services Limited Invites applications for JUNIOR ENGINEER TRAINEE (JET) Tata Steel UISL is looking for young and bright diploma holders in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical to join as Junior Engineer Trainee. Selected candidates will undergo twelve months training before final placement. On selection, candidates will be placed in challenging assignments in different areas of operations and maintenance.

Age Limit

For general candidates: Should have been born between 1 December 1994 and December 1, 2004 (both days inclusive)

For SC/ST candidates: Should have been born between 1 December 1993 and December 1, 2004 (both days inclusive).

Qualification

03 years full time Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) from an Institution that is recognized by AlCTE.

Marks

Minimum 70% marks (aggregate) of all semesters in Diploma and

Minimum 60% marks (aggregate) in Matriculation or equivalent exam.

Physical Qualification

Height: 153 cm (For girls: 142 cm)

Weight: 45 kg (For girls: 40 kg)

Expansion of chest: 5 

Eyesight: 6/6 in both eyes with glas

Power of Glasses: t 4.0 maximum

Colour Vision: Normal

Stipend Or Salary

The candidates undergoing training will be paid stipend during their training period.

 

Selection Process & Placement

Eligible candidates will have to appear for Written test which will consist of questions on the following:
Syllabus of Diploma program of respective branch, Mathematics (Up to Matriculation level), GK & English (All questions would be multiple choice). Those who quality in the written test will be interviewed by a duly constituted selection committee. On successful completion of training, the selected candidates will be placed at an appropriate level and will be placed at any location of Tata Steel USIL Ltd.
